Environmental
Integrity
Hi-fli
Banners & Flags use a water-based digital print system. This
produces no harmful byproducts or gases to ensure the impact of
our manufacturing process on the environment is minimal.
We:
-
Recycle all used ink cartridges
-
Use solvent free, water-based inks
- Recycle
any scrap cloth
- Have
a closed loop policy on waste.

We
are unique in being the sole company of our kind on the planet controlling
a complete closed loop cycle of both product & waste in-house.
From knitting and weaving our own fabrics, design and pre-press,
digital printing, sewing and finishing and then, after use by our
clients, offering to take the product back for recycling into yarn
for use in future products.
As
a company we also play our part in promoting environmental awareness
and integrity in everyday business life. We do this by encouraging
our staff to deposit day to day items like cans, cardboard and paper
at recycling points set up throughout the factory. We also take
into account the values of environmental pressure groups and charities
such as WaterAid, Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, Make Poverty
History and the Fair Trade Movement.
